Enforcing display name case-sensitivity in BT Email App

Using the BT Email App on my Android phone, I've noticed that when trying to set the 'Display Name' for an email address, any capital letters I set appear as lowercase letters to a recipient.

For example, say I set my email address' display name as 'Bee Tee' on my BT Email App, when I send an message from this mailbox, the display name appears as 'bee tee' to the recipient.

This issue does not happen when using my Outlook client on my laptop.

Does anyone know if it's possible to enforce mixed capitals for the display name in the BT Email App? And if so, could you me how?

Thank you!

Use a decent email app such as Bluemail which is far superior to the BTMail app.

I expected some replies like this. But yes. I agree! A better email app is definitely an option - and not hard to find.

In this case, I'm just interested in understanding the technical reason why this issue occurs, and finding out if it can be overcome, such as using escape characters etc.

Thank you anyway.
