Event reminder - wrong date

I'm posting this because it's so absurd.

I should have received an event reminder email 15 miutes before whole-day event on 7th October 2024.

What happened? I received a reminder for a date in the past.

Re: Event reminder - wrong date

Hi @PeterE17

Thanks for coming back to the community and letting us know about the reminders.

Is this a new reminder that you have set up recently?

Has this happened with more than one reminder?

Speak soon 🙂

Leanne.

Re: Event reminder - wrong date

Hi @Leanne_T, thanks for your reply.

This is a new reminder, set up to  flag events on the first Monday of each month from October to December.

I have not seen a reminder mail with an incorrect date before (although I have posted on the Forum about other problems with reminders).

However, a reminder set up (probably) in late 2022 flagged events for the first Monday of each month from January to December 2023.  A little big of digging shows that the first Monday in October 2023 was the 2nd, whilst the 2nd  was a Wednesday in 2024.  I'm now wondering if this old and expired event series somehow managed to clash with the new  one.

I will report back in a month's time when the next "first Monday" turns up - I'll schedule a reminder.  I hope this helps.

Re: Event reminder - wrong date

Thanks very much for the details @PeterE17

It would be good to know if this happens on the first Monday of November.

Please keep me updated 🙂

Speak to you soon.

Re: Event reminder - wrong date

@Leanne_T

I have received my reminder, it's wrong again and I see no pattern to it.

The event was set for the first Monday of the month, the reminder was requested 15 minutes before the event and was received on time, but the subject line was a date in the past. There was a similar event set up in 2023 for the first Monday of the month, which in November was the 6th.
