Failed to deliver email. Delivery time expired.

Hello,

I frequently send group emails to 14 addresses. Over the last couple of months I have started to receive a message from the Postmaster at btinternet.com reporting that delivery to seven of the recipients failed for this reason.

Failed; 4.4.7 (delivery time expired)

It is the same seven addresses each time. The addresses are correct.

I am sending using desktop Outlook.

Each time I resend the same message from within Outlook but using a different Account which is a live.co.uk account. This is successful.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you are putting your own email address in the BCC box try removing it.

Although not ideal if that does not work if you are not already adding the email addresses into the normal address box use that instead of the CC or BCC box. 

There were known issues with using them.

Many thanks for your swift reply.

All the names were placed in the To box but I was using BCC for a copy to myself.

I will give it a try without that.
