Is this genuine BT email?

Go to solution

Just received an email purportedly from BT saying I need to update profile or my services will be suspended and then gives a link to amend profile.
Im concerned because the email  is from btcomms@chaseandpiper.co.uk. Is this genuine or phishing?

I've just had a similar one, purportedly from btcomms@laylahillauthor.com.  Again, not a BT domain, so clearly a scam.  I've reported it to BT and Action Fraud.

Seems there must be a current wave of these that BT's spam filters are failing to recognise and block.

@prabtcom

Junk email a phishing attempt.

Please edit out those links. If they are not removed in 5 minutes I will remove your post from public view, in case someone clicks on those links.
