Login

 After entering email address and password I am now being asked to verify my identity by passcode and choose whether by phone or email!!  Is this something else BT have introduced without notice?

I presume that you are referring to " 2 Factor Authentication" that is available with BT.

This was introduced a few years ago and it must be activated by the account holder, not BT so if you are getting this it must have been activated by the account holder.

I did not change the setting.  I was in my emails and then as it now does it closed and when I logged back in I was asked to verify.  I have not logged into MYBT for around six months but have now gone in and switched the two step off.

Very strange!!
