New web email composer issues

Recently BT have changed the email client in the web browser - it now has a new look and feel.

I have issues composing responses to emails. As I'm typing every 10 seconds or so, it goes to auto save, and my cursor moves from where I'm at in typing to the start of the email. It then types in so many of the letters I just typed at the start of the email, then those suddenly disappear either fully or partially. My cursor doesn't return to where it was.

This is virtually making replying to an email in the web browser impossible. It's been like this ever since the web client got upgraded. I'm using Chrome browser on Windows 10.

Does anyone else experience the same? How can this get fixed please?

@dw909 Everybody faces this same problem. It's on the list of faults BT are plannimg to fix. 

People have taken to using mail clients or composing their replies externally and pasting them in. 

You can set autosave to every 5 minutes but the cursor will still jump.
