Hi. As I prepare to move from Blueyonder as Virgin are useless, I set up a BT e-mail, and auto forwarded emails from Blueyonder until I notify everyone of my new BT e-mail address.
It worked for a few days and now has suddenly stopped. (I set another forward on Blueyonder and that side works).
Any ideas what could be wrong in my BT account as to why it has stopped receiving. I have checked my Blueyonder email is not blocked. I have checked SPAM folder. I have set up my Blueyonder email as a safe e-mail.
Bad enough having to work with Virgin, but did not expect so much aggro in moving to BT.
I thought BT had stopped allowing new customers to set up BT email addresses (****@btinternet.com)
from ISPREVIEW June 17 2022
New broadband and mobile customers of UK ISP BT will, from the end of this month, no longer be able to benefit from the operator’s included Email and online Cloud storage features. The good news is that existing customers will be unaffected, at least for now.
From 26 October 2022BT Email is no longer offered to customers who take BT Broadband packages. For customers who have not already set up the service, the option to do so will no longer exist in MyBT.
Existing BT Broadband customers who already have a BT Email service activated, can continue to use including the ability to create additional email addresses up to the 11 permitted.
Did you previously have BT Broadband and a BT email address? If not how did you set up your BTMail email address? Was the option to set up email addresses showing in your MyBT or is it a BT Premium email account?
When you enter your MyBT and go to "Your Products" does it show "Email" and if it does what is shown when you click on "Manage", does it show what type of email account you have?

Don't use a BTinternet address, get and use a Gmail address. You will then not be tied to use any ISP address.
Then set the forwarding to the Gmail address.
