Renaming a hyperlink

Hello All,

I'd be grateful for some help. I moved to the newer look BT email in the last couple of weeks.

Under the older format, when you wanted to embed a hyperlink, you were given the option of renaming it to something more friendly.

Under the new system, you can still insert a hyperlink, but the option to rename it has gone.

Does anyone have a solution to this?

In a nutshell, no. It would appear the option has been removed.

I can not find any work around within the email settings for it so it looks like the full hyperlink needs to be shown.

You can however shorten hyperlinks using Microsoft Word. See link
