Got a text from "BT"
Telling me someone has tried my email account but they have locked it to protect me.
Asking me to go to "bt.com/secure" for help.
Is this genuine ?
There is something going on as the address bar for my email mentions "compromisedRecovery" & only partially loads
Tried login through Thunderbird & says can't connect "server down"

Try logging on using a web browser using the BTMail log on page. If the account has been locked it will tell you and what you need to do to unlock it.
