Suspicious activity - password reset nearly every day.
Hi - I've had my email account for years now, but recently almost every day I am having to reset my password due to suspicious activity. Yesterday when I had to reset my password, I got back in to my account and it was clear that it had been accessed because 2 emails I had to read had been opened.
The same thing has happened today, albeit it no one seems to have accessed any emails.
I know on some platforms you can see when someone has attempted a login, or where you might be logged in on other devices, does anyone know if this is something you can do with BT Email. It seems to be someone specifically targeting the account for a specific reason. I have a very secure password and change it regularly, so unsure what the purpose is without looking at some kind of data that shows the attempted logins. (I work in Cyber security so I am not totally naïve)
Thanks in advance
Daryl

Presumably then it wouldn’t be a password that would succumb to brute-forcing etc. I also take it you’ve checked for other accounts, forwarders and rules etc. that you’ve not set, so the question then becomes how did they get in? Have you checked your own devices for keyloggers etc?

Re: Suspicious activity - password reset nearly every day.
All other accounts seem secure - no issues.
The emails accessed were for a Xbox subscription, I've logged in to that account and nothing has been changed, albeit the reason for opening the email was to access a password reset code. I've now enabled 2FA on that account to stop any access, but ultimately the account (EPIC GAMES) was dormant and has not information in it.
I suspect it may be my ex wife or my children who I am estranged from that have accessed it (albeit that doesn't make sense) as the password is not a password they would ever be able to guess or access.
My devices are all secure, either Bitlocker, or Password / Fingerprint / Facial, and all secure at home.
Its the frequency of the accessing of the email account that has got me asking the question, 3 days on the trot now suspicious activity has been noted.

OK, 2FA should do it. You changed the password. Did you change the answers to things like security questions etc?
