Switching to basic email

Hi all,

I’ve been paying for my email ever since I left BT and now want to switch to the Basic so I won’t have to pay! I can find info about the actual account but not how to make the change. Guessing they don’t want to make it too easy, but it seems almost impossible? Anyone actually done it please? Many thanks.

You need to call the BT Premium email 0808 100 6778 and cease your Premium email account and tell them you want to move onto the BTMail basic account.
