Webmail on Android

Go to solution

I have setup Inbox subfolders on webmail. These operate correctly on webmail on Windows with Edge browser but the Inbox  subfolders do not display on webmail on Android with Chrome browser.

I cannot find any setting to access the Inbox subfolders on Android webmail.

Have you tried going into the Chrome settings and ticking the box "Desktop site"

If you click on the three lines in the menu bar it will open reveal all your folders. If you look really closely you will see a small arrow to the left hand side of the Inbox icon. Click on the arrow, not the icon and it will reveal the Inbox sub folders. This is also the same if you prefer using the "mobile" webmail rather than the "Desktop site".

Personally I would suggest that you use an email client/app set up as an IMAP account which will be much easier to manage than using webmail.

Thank you for describing the faint Inbox arrow.

I had tried selecting the faint arrow, but always failed - aged fat fingers. Your advice gave me the confidence to keep trying until successful.

Your advice was invaluable, thanks again.
