Microsoft are not 'scrapping' Outlook 2010. Support was withdrawn in 2020.
it regularly blocks emails from other providers and you don't even know they have been blocked . It blocked a whole server in one instance !
Microsoft have via Win 10/11 installed NEW outlook which blocks older outlook and directs all mail through itself. It also removes the existing calendar and replaces it with a useless "new" one. You CANNOT remove the "new" outlook and cannot prevent it installing! It is causing massive complaints and issues with IT savvy users and companies admins etc across the web. unless you gave win 8 or win 7 then you cannot keep older versions of outlook running ... it is nothing to do with "support" being withdrawn . It is linked to windows Mail your windows account .
Just to clarify, are you referring to Outlook.com webmail ie using a browser or Outlook the stand alone email client?
@assybish10 The 'New Outlook' app and MS Outlook 2010 can sit happily side by side on a W11 PC.
You can use either individually or both together, they are entirely independent of each other and do not interfere with each other.
Spot on I am also .. the site is like a child used word press to write a piece of **bleep** for mobile phones and is a total fail with any decent browser on a real PC !

Exactly this. Why on earth can't senders that are not explicitly blocked at least go to SPAM?
And for those suggesting that there is no need to log in to access emails and to use a proper email client, how does one manage "Safe Senders" without going to webmail.
Finally, BT know our email addresses, why couldn't they advise that the way that logging into webmail has changed?
