Is it me? Or does the new look remind me of painting by numbers or in this case letters. Not sure about this new look. I am finding the coloured letters beside each email very intrusive and irritating. When trying to delet numerous junk e-mails or things I am not interested in. The selection of mail for deleting, very irrtating as it jumps back for no reason at all meaning you have to go back and re- select e-mails for deletion again.
You can turn off the "coloured" squares by going into the settings found by clicking on your username at the top right then click on settings then Mail in the left hand column then untick the box "show avatar in the message list".
What device are you using and what web browser are you using?
Are you using the browser in the Desktop version or the Mobile version? If the mobile version try the desktop version to see if the option appears or try a different browser.
