Can BT do something about the 'non-voluntary' annoying check box tick that keeps appearing against email messages when I don't want it to. A few times now, I have inadvertently deleted messages where a tick has suddenly appeared just because it is either the first message or the one I just looked at etc. It never used to be like this and has been happening for about a year now. A tick should appear only when I decide it does not the system. Thanks for any input.
Solved! Go to Solution.
You should look at your email account settings.
To do that log onto your email account using a web browser then click on your username at the right hand side. Click on settings then go to "Mail" in the left hand column then check if the box " View next mail after delete / move" is ticked.
If it is ticked untick it and click "Save".
Well @gg30340 That appears to have done the trick! If only it was more apparent from the settings description. Many thanks for this and I hope others will notice it too.
Thanks for your post about the annoying tick & to Distinguished Sage for his solution.I had just accepted it as part of the email setup. It was so damned annoying.Like you i had deleted em when forgetting about a box being ticked.
