The correct settings were given in the link in message 2. I guess Apple never checked them even although they said they had!

I deleted a lot of email and also the BT email App yesterday. Then later my email address from Apple mail and reinstalled it. Everything is not working fine. Mail deleting from all devices now.Thanks for your help.James
