BY Mail, freezing and cursor moving

Within the last week my email has changed for the worse. 

Using a laptop

It is taking much longer to open up when first logging in.

Some email addresses are no longer recognized and invalid.

When typing the cursor freezes and eventually appears at the beginning of the email. looks like it is happening when auto save is processing.

Any ideas?

Stop using webmail and use the proper tool for the job, a mail client

If you are using a web browser and your email web page has recently been updated try clearing your web browsers history and cookies.

Same for me.  Replying to an email is now not possible. Did you have any luck?

go into the settings and click on "Mail" and change the "Auto save draft" time to five minutes to see if that helps.

Remember to click "Save".

At least it will give you more time to complete your email and send it, its definitely a problem with auto save

if you look at a saved mail after a crash its in HTML not text

Given there is nothing I can do about webmail, the advice was neither irrelevant or unhelpful. Why would you drive a smelly clapped out Trabant when you could drive a Ferrari for free.
