Hello, it has been quite a few years since I was with BT for broadband and Phone, but moved to someone else.
Now and again I check my old email address, and despite being told that after 6 months the account would be deactivated and deleted, I find that the account and email are still very much not deactivated.
How can I get BT to deactivate my account and email?
Any advice welcome?

Stop checking it. When you check it you are reactivating it.

Failing the above you will need to contact BT 0330.1234.150 and ask for the email team who should be able to help.
