Can't send email

I had an important email refused to send as it said it may contain spam or phishing content. It appears that it has eventually gone once I removed my email address from the main body. In the meantime I had sent it on 5 separate pieces, which was very annoying and probably confusing to the recipients who are all French.

Is that a common problem as it not the first time it has happened. Is there a block on placing your own email into your email for people to respond too?

It has been known for emails not to be sent when you have included the sending email address in the CC or BCC address box. 

It would appear the the BT email system will not send that perhaps because it suspects that the email is spam. As you are no doubt aware you will have a copy of the email in your sent folder so perhaps there really is no need to also include it in CC or BCC.

As regards sending an email with your email address in the main body of the email I have just sent an email with my email address in the body and it sent without any issue.

I do not know why your email would not send and as far as I am aware your problem is not a common one.

Thank you for that information you may have hit the nail on the head.

I had tried to send a BCC to myself as well as to my son and daughter.

When it finally went, I had sent it without my email in the main body and with no BCC copies.

I will bear that in mind in future.
