Hopefully your still able to get in. Nothing I did worked until I tried again this morning! When I try now it still goes round and round for a while then suddenly it opens , not ideal but I am now able to check my emails. Lets hope it lasts 🤞

I was able to report the issue to BT and raised a complaint. I had a call back today within 24 hours. And via a video link I explained the looping issue and showed it happening live on my laptop. The problem appeared to arise when using Microsoft Edge as my browser . It seemed ok using Chrome as a browser. The IT person explained the probable cause was that identified by others on this forum and related to clearing the browsers cache. I explained I had cleared the cache several times with no success. However I had not appreciated that under the "Delete browsing data" option for the Edge browser the "Time range" should be set to "All time". So far this appears to have stopped the looping . I could access the email and then close it, but opening the same email a second time resulted in the looping issue - this problem appears to have been resolved. I hope this continues. I hope this change to the time range is successful for others on the forum. In ignorance I do not know if the "all time" selection will have an unforeseen impact on other computer applications.
The recommendation to clear cookies from all time has been posted many times on the forum.
And has been done by many of us. I clear everything every night & use Chrome, to no avail sadly. I've updated Chrome but still getting the same problem. Every now and then it goes round and round and suddenly it will open my emails ! But next time I try its back to square one! I wonder if its because I am now with EE & no longer BT! Thought maybe my Security but the problem still happening for others so I doubt its that!
Gonna run a security check thru whole laptop, restart when done and see what happens then, will report back probably tomorrow the time it will take !
Well that was interesting, did a full scan of laptop & security showed a few things up but the most important thing, once scanning finish I closed and restarted lap top and low and behold, holding breath, I tried to login to my email accounts & it worked, went straight in 😁
Still no idea what or why I haven't been able to get in but happy to report I am now ok - long may it continue
