Can i keep my BT email address if i move to another broadband provider

Yes, but you will only be able to use webmail unless you pay £7.50/m for Premium Mail to be able yo use clients and apps.

if you move to anther BT provder such as EE or plusnet do i get to keep this as free email for instance

If you migrate to EE ie not as a new customer, then you can keep the BT Mail accounts as "Standard" BTMail accounts.

As far as I am aware and I could be wrong you do not get to keep them as a "Standard" BTMail account if you move to Plusnet. It will become a "Basic" BTMail account.
