Creating a new email address

I followed the guidance on the website and it took me round in circles, I want to create new email addresses

I strongly suggest you create either a Gmail or Outlook address rather than an address tied to an ISP.

Do you already have a BTMail email address?

If you do not, since 2022 BT no longer supply email accounts to new customers or to people who were BT Broadband customer  prior to 2022 and had not set up any email address prior to that date.

Yea I been a BT customer from long before 2022 , a lot of yers in fact

Is that Yes you have a current BTMail address or just Yes you are a BT Broadband customer?

When you log onto your MyBT and go to Your Products then Email Manage does it show your email account  and what "Account Type" you have ?  It should be "Standard".

Does it show how many of your 11 email addresses you have used?

Does it show a box "Create New Email address"?

If it does what happens when you click on it?
