Log on to your MyBT then go to Personal Details and scroll down to Two Step Authentication > Edit Two Step Authentication then Your Passcode Settings then scroll down and switch it off or on depending on what you want.

I have tried this and while I can find the edit button, I then have to have and access code sent to email and after entering that code I am required to send one to my mobile phone and then the cycle repeats itself. Can anyone please help.?

You are posting on a 3 year old thread when things were different. It is no longer possible to disable 2FA

You are responding to a three year old thread when the information posted was correct.

BT have since introduced 2FA for all BTMail accounts and it can not be turned off. There is also problems with the 2FA system which BT are working on but there is no date given when this will be fixed.
