Email deliverability issues

Go to solution

Hello,

i am getting the following error message when sending emails to @btinternet.com email addresses. Email messages are legit (order confirmation emails) but for some reason got rejected and customers are calling back to know if their order has been receieved.

Below is an example of the bounce message:

host mx.bt.prod.cloud.openwave.ai[65.20.50.207]
said: 554 Message rejected on 2025/05/03 09:48:03 BST, policy (3.2.1.1) ID
(67F5EB030AAE0DCC) - Your message looks like SPAM or has been reported as
SPAM (in reply to end of DATA command)

This is happening roughly since April this year and it looks like it is affecting more senders.

Could you please take a look a this and help us resolve the issue?

Have a read through this link to make sure you comply with it and if you do you will need to get the BT postmaster to have a look at the problem.

https://www.bt.com/help/email/fix-a-problem/sending-or-receiving-email/bt-email---best-practices-for...

You will most likely need to email them more than once as they seem very lax at responding to requests.
