Email log in change

Anyone know when the change to the way we have to log in separately to each linked email account was actually implemented?  Thanks

The "old" way should never have been implemented. It is an insecure method to have your BTID and email account linked together with the same password and username.

Despite this being pointed out to BT years ago it would appear the folly of this has finally gotten through to them.

Ahh fair enough.  Do you know when it actually happened though?  I now have issues receiving CCTV notifications to a linked email account and wonder if the date of these emails stopping matches the date of the change.

I do not know when it was implement as I rarely use webmail but I think it was fairly recent as in the last month or so.
