I have had problems with my outlook account which is why I am now using my gmail account in preference to the BTMail has BT done something at their end because I certainly havent and havent a clue how to sort this out..

Hi @Cartaret1
Are you logging into BT Webmail? If not, could you log in there to see is you see the same issue?
Here's a couple of things to check and try too:
Clear your browser cache and cookies if you're viewing mail in a browser.
Check for email rules or filters that may have been created accidentally.
In BT Mail, go to: Settings > Mail > Rules
Also check Blocked Senders and Auto Forward settings to make sure nothing unexpected has been configured.
Let us know if this helps please.
Chris
The issue is in Outlook only -these weird emails dont appear on BT Webmail but do appear in my Outlook .
I am not the only person according to forums with this issue.
I get a totally blank email - no sender no subject nothing ,, all I am doing is deleting them as and when they appear - there is nothing to click into and I would NEVER do that in any case.
Thanks @Cartaret1, so does nothing in Webmail match the timestamp of these emails, including in your spam / junk folder?
Just to be sure too, is your BT account the only email address linked with your Outlook client?
Peter
On Outlook I have 2 Gmail accounts and also an Oulook email that seldom gets used.
I have had all of these running in Outlook for years without any apparent issues - This idiocy only started very recently .
Thanks @Cartaret1, have you checked to ensure the emails are definitely coming through to the BT address rather than these other two addresses?
Have you tried checking if this happens with a different client, or through Outlook on another device, too?
Peter
So, you have multiple accounts in Outlook and the mails don't appear in BT webmail but bizarrely you think the problem is a BT problem.
Not really , I was looking for guidance to discount BT as the source of the issue...
Are you talking about the webmail service Outlook.com or the email client also known as Outlook?
If it is the email client known as Outlook which incarnation is it?
The issue appears on the Outlook on my laptop... not on the web mail service.
