Re: Email rules not working

@andydenyer @andydenyer

After days of trying the rules I now used If from contains @names.xxxx then discard which may be working.

Also I forwarded the emails to the National Cyber Security Centre at report@phishing.gov.uk

They acknowledged several of the emails.

I sent one to BT as it was blatantly imitating BT.

The nuisance emails have stopped, might be the rule who knows or the NCSC have stopped them.

I was getting up to 15 emails a day at one point.

It is definitely worth reporting nuisance emails.

Good luck🤞

Re: Email rules not working ?

It may be me.

I have been getting a large number of emails each day all containing no-reply@ then a name.

I have blocked each but have tried a rule saying if from contains no-reply@    Then discard it but it doesn’t seem to work.

Any suggestions please.

Re: Email rules not working ?

Unfortunately @Cicero I don't as I'm finding that any new rules I set now are just being totally ignored.

For example, following a deluge of fake McAfee emails, I've set rules to discard any emails claiming to be from McAfee, that include McAfee in the subject line or even mention McAfee in the body of the email, but none of those rules are working.
