Suddenly unable to get emails on my Apple phone.  Manage to get them on other devices.  Do I need to change settings on my phone?

How do you access your emails on your iPhone, is it with an email app or a web browser?

What happens when you try to access your email?

If it is a web browser try clearing your web browser's history and cookies. When you do that make sure that you select the option "Clear All Time" if your browser offers that option.

If it an email app, which one?

You can check it is using the correct settings in the following link.

Have you changed anything such as your password prior to the email stopping?

Thank you.  It works through the browser but not through the app.  Should I  uninstall the app and re-install it?

Are you presently a BT Broadband customer or are you paying for your email through a BT Premium email account or did you migrate to EE Broadband?

If none of the above your email account may have been downgraded to a BTMail Basic account which can not be used with an email client or email apps.

Thank you to all those who replied.    I've now discovered what the problem was.   I'd changed my password on my desktop but hadn't changed it to the same password on my phone.
