Re: Forwarding
I'm using BT's own webmail Neil. I used to use Thunderbird but got fed up losing chunks of my email history when I had to switch to a new PC.

Re: Forwarding
Thanks for confirming that @Grumblywuth.
Are you only using webmail or do you use the app? Do you see the same message on both?
Cheers

Re: Forwarding
Only webmail. I have no use for a mobile phone because internet access is impossible here. No signal.
It might be relevant, or it might not, but some time ago I was having the same Code 553 (We at BT think your spamming) error. A call to their tech services cleared that up in a week. I wonder now if this zero ability to Forward might be related to that... 🤔

Sorry this is off topic, by with Thunderbird - you can backup one profile folder (e.g. using compression tool if needs be). That folder (and expanded) can then be put into the same area on the new PC. It stores your total Thunderbird including email address, all emails, everything. This "zip" file can then be kept on a backup drive.
