How much mailbox space

I started making use of my free BT mail account but can anyone advise how much mailbox space you get in total?

Assuming you are not a business user, it is unlimited.

I assume if i ever lose BT i will also lose this email address?

No. You can keep the email address for free but it gets "downgraded" to the Basic email account which can only be accessed using a web browser and not with an email client/app.

If you want to keep the function to be able to use an email client/app you would need to take out a BT Premium email account.
