This has started to happen to me - I know for a fact that a website company I am dealing with has sent me emails, but they never appear.
I have seen the emails as a screenshot, and my email address is correct. The domain/email address is not on my blocked sender, blocked domains or rules. I have triple checked this.
I access my BT email solely through BT's own webmail.
What is going on?
Hi @studsr.
Thanks for coming here.
I have sent you a private message to gather more information.
Katie
I have the same problem. I received the following in my gmail account when sending to btinternet.com email addresses
From: Mail Delivery Subsystem <mailer-daemon@googlemail.com>
Date: Mon, 23 Jun 2025, 15:01
Subject: Delivery Status Notification (Failure)
To: < <I have deleted name> @gmail.com >

The response from the remote server was: 554 Message rejected on 2025/06/23 15:01:44 BST, policy (3.2.1.1) ID (67F738602408BFC0) - Your message looks like SPAM or has been reported as SPAM |
The individual did not receive any notice of failure.
Also I personally did not receive an email sent from a googlemail.com address and sent to my btinternet.com address.
It seems to be btinternet.com is not delivering emails sent to multiple addresses as was the case in both of these instances.
Thanks for any help
Alexis
Hi @alexis2,
Welcome to the BT Community
As per the rejection message it looks like your messages are getting caught in the spam filter. This is not happening when you send an individual message to a btinternet address to confirm, just the mass message?
It is worth having a check over the guide on this page to check everything is setup in a way to help avoid it being caught in the spam filter. The page also includes the BT postmaster address which you can contact to let them know of the issue you are having and they may be able to help.
