I've just noticed that when I send a email from my email end gmail.com it doesn't appear in my inbox btinternet.com, not in spam folder just doesn't arrive. I have test this by send email from other Gmail accounts to all my family btinternet account and non of them arrive?
I've sent from gmail.com to my BT.com account all ok, my mails from my btinternet account get to Gmail but nothing back. I have a Gmail account ending .AT and that reaches my btinternet inbox ok but nothing ending Gmail com appear in my inbox??
Seem to be an issue incoming to btinternet.com?
I have the same issue nothing block just nothing with a gmail.com address reaches my inbox I have tested this on all my family accounts same issue seems like gmail.com is blocked, I can send to Gmail on but get nothing back. I also have a Gmail account ending .At and that gets through ok???
Is this being looked at as a fault?
Have you checked for blocked senders email addresses and Domains ?
To do that log onto your BTMail account using a browser, not an email client/app, and then click on your username at the right hand side. Select "Settings" then go to the left hand side and select "Mail". Scroll down and click on "Blocked Senders".
Scroll down the list paying attention to the domain i.e gmail, until you find the one you want to unblock and select it.
Click on the small "Trash" symbol at the right hand side. It will only delete the email address/domain from the blocked senders list not your contacts list.
The first things I looked at.
If there is no blocks in your Blocked Senders list you will need to contact BT 0330.1234.150 and ask to speak to the BTMail email team and report the issue there.
One thing to try before that is to check to see if you have any parental controls, web protect or antivirus/malware blockers on your devices or your BT Broadband account that none of them are blocking the gmail domain.
I only access my BT email through BT's webmail, so the antivirus and malware (Windows Defender and Malwarebytes) would not effect emails on webmail - there is no block on gmail, however it is not just gmail domain that is being affected for me - I have already sent two example emails addresses I know had emails sent to me to private message, and no sign of these emails in my inbox, spam, deleted items.
Are the "BT Email Team" not accessing this forum? - I was under the impression that was who I sent example email addresses to in private message?
This is a BT residential customer to customer forum. Your post does not go to BT.
None of the BT "teams" access the forum or take an active part in this forum and are not proactive when there are problems.
The only BT staff on the forum are the moderators who do not necessarily read all the posts.
The forum moderators do not have access to customer accounts and are unable to assist other than to contact the relevant team on your behalf and to answer general questions.
I see that you have also posted this problem on another thread. Doing that causes confusion and duplication when making replies so with that in mind I will refrain from posting further.
