I have a talk21 email address. Previously Outlook on Windows 11 would link to this without a problem, but now I have to use the ".t21@btinternet" format to get it to work.
The problem is that when I send e-mails from outlook my address appears as "name.name.T21@btinternet" whereas everyone is expecting "name.name@talk21.com".
anyone else encountered this?
Solved! Go to Solution.
That is they way it is now. Just advise your contacts of the change.
Well I’m not so sure, there is another talk21 account on the same computer and that links up no problem

there are other similar threads on the forum which shows the format that talk21 email address should now be using.
This appears to be an issue with the “new” outlook in windows 11. The classic outlook works fine and can be downloaded from Microsoft.
Outlook on iOS also works ok.
Legacy Talk21 standard email accounts are still valid and supported for BT broadband customers or those who have migrated to EE.
I never said they were not supported. I am well aware that they can still be used.
I pointed out the format of the email address that should be used.
I have nothing further to add.
Neither have I
