Premium Mail Account

Go to solution

I currently have BT Premium mail @ £7.50 per month as a previous broadband customer years ago.

Now Looking for a new broadband package.

If I took a new BT Broadband package would I still need to pay this fee to use my existing @btinternet.com addresses as a BtBroadband customer?

Basically I am asking has anybody else successfully achieved this.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

No, if you return to BT you no longer pay for Premium Mail

Obviously, I have no idea how long you’ve been paying BT £7.50 a month (£90 annually), but that is very expensive just to have an email service. At that cost, I hope you’ve had an exceptional experience.

The fact is, there are much cheaper subscription based email providers out there. I pay just over £65 biannually for my Swiss based email account. There are also of course some reasonably adequate free providers out there.

At the end of the day, it’s your choice and if you believe you’ve been getting good value for money and service, then that’s all that matters.

@licquorice thank you for confirming what I "hoped" might be the case.
