I've been plagued by problems using my bt email address on the iPad for some time. The main issues are that it regularly advises me that my password is wrong and throws me back to settings to re-insert.
It's also terribly slow to download emails. I can see how many it's trying to download but I have to wait so long I end up using the BT mail app to see what mail I'm getting.
Mail arriving on my iPhone or Mac don't suffer the same delays but the iPhone seems to have the same password problem.
Not the end of the world but very frustrating, any ideas please?

Use Android
If the BTMail app works OK that would tend to suggest the problem is with the iPad email app that you are using.
Which email app are you using and have you checked that the email settings are correct as per this link?
