I have had this problem for some months and rarely even try to send via the BT Interface and am using another EMail Platform.

In my case I receive emails but am unable to send - either freestanding or replies/forwarding - with the following Message Pop Up every time "An error occurred when sending your mail. Please try again later."

Needless to say "trying later" only serves to try my patience as it never works.

Are you using a BTMail account or a different email supplier?

Are you a BT Broadband customer or paying for your email through a BT Premium email account?

Hi

 

BT Mail Account - using BT Broadband.

I have mail forwarding via IONOS as I have my own address/domain name but haven't had any problems over many years of use until the past year or so.

Can you clarify:

Are you having problems receiving/sending BT emails when you log onto your BTMail account using a web browser (webmail) ?

Are you using an email client and if so which server details are you using, is it the BT server details or are you using your own domain server settings ?
