Missing sent mail

I've just had this problem as well!!!!!

I am suddenly missing 5 years of sent messages. The folder includes everything sent up to 2019 and then everything from this week! But there is nothing in between!!!!!

Any ideas how I can resolve this, please?

If the emails are not showing on the BT servers when you log onto your email account via webmail using a web browser it means they are gone and can not be recovered.
