Scam email warning - phishing email claiming to be from Nationwide

There is a scam email doing the rounds that BT's spam filters are failing to identify and block.

The email claims to be from Nationwide regarding a direct debit being set-up and if you know nothing about it to call a certain number.

However, the email is NOT from a Nationwide email address and the telephone number quoted is NOT a Nationwide number.

They are obviously trying to scare people in to calling that number so that they can ask a series of 'security' questions in order to obtain some of the personal details they are after.

I have marked it as phishing and reported it to phishing@nationwide.co.uk and report@phishing.gov.uk
