@Su3 What device(s) have been compromised, i.e. the device that you opened the email on and then clicked on the link? PC/laptop? Phone?
If on a Windows PC, have you run a malware/virus check to make sure your system isn’t infected with malware or any other virus.
Have you tried to open your email service on a completely separate device to the one you opened the infected email on using the new password?
I realise it’s after the horse has bolted, but the Amazon gift card scam emails have been doing the rounds for years. Never click on a link on any email unless you know it’s from a trusted source and that you have at least clicked on the email header address to determine its legitimacy.
