If you mean your email account it is because two factor authentication is now active on your BTMail account.

If you can use an email app such as the BTMail app or the Thunderbird email app instead of using webmail on a web browser this would bypass 2FA and you would not need  PIN.

You would need to connect to wifi to avoid using a mobile network and incurring the daily cost you have been paying.

@seasidesam Indeed, why are you not connecting to a free hotel/public WiFi hotspot and using that instead of data from your UK SIM? I am a frequent global traveller, I don't pay for data or calls, all done through a VPN and free WiFi calling over WhatsApp etc.

Are you using the BTMail email app or the MyBT app, there is a difference. If you are not sure, the BTMail app icon looks like a blue envelope and the MyBT app is a blue icon with BT in the centre of a white circle.
