Suddenly started to get a message - Sorry your email could not be delivered due to content policy reasons and then it goes on and on with some meaningless dribble about malware, phishing etc. etc.
I should explain that this is an email address that I correspond with regularly - up until yesterday, no problems. Today, nothing has changed yet it now doesn't work and I am being made to feel like I am some sort of criminal doing something wrong.
What is it with BT email these days? I've used it for decades at a current cost of £51 pcm with no issues but, over the last year or so, the quality of service just seems to have gone to pot. Continual tweaking and format changes, none of which I asked for. Then the BT server sometimes just shuts off without even warning me, even if I am half way through an email. In addition, I am finding now that I have difficulty sending some emails requiring repeated attempts. It has got to the point where I recently opened and started using a mail.com com email address and the difference is startling, it really is. It really shows how bad BT email has become. At mail.com everything works like a swiss watch, for free. At BT email, it's almost a lottery whether or not the damn email will work at all for £51 pcm.
How do I fix this error message?
Why should I have to waste a moment of my own time doing this, if it is a BT issue?
