Spam

I get dozens of emails from random addresses such as ivwdbibcixnwdbwiclsneohxwnfowjxiwnwojxiwxjroneihdihwihxiehcejdigeeinfh@camdvr.cloud

I started by blocking said site, but the randomness makes it virtually impossible to block them all……..they do go straight into the spam filter, but so do some things that shouldn’t and it takes ages to scroll through to find the ones I do actually want. How do I stop this ?

Re: Spam

You may well find my response unhelpful and not exactly what you wish to hear and I don't mean any offence, but my advice is, find yourself another email provider. It may well be a total pain to switch to another email provider, but that's what I did when I swapped from using a non BT email account to my current provider to whom I subscribe and won't mention to stop others from moaning about promoting a particular provider. Upshot is, I don't even have to think about spam because I don't get any. I'm more than happy to pay my 30 quid a year but there are clearly other 'free' email providers out there who can seemingly assure an almost entirely spam free experience without putting any personal effort in.

Hi @andy4115

I'm sorry to hear that you're receiving those emails, I can imagine it's very frustrating for you.
