Switching to premium email

I’ve just left BT broadband and want to retain our email addresses. I keep getting told that we’ll get an email about switching but neither my husband or I have had this ? I also don’t seem to have the option to switch when I log on to the app. Any suggestions how to resolve ? Thanks

When you leave BT Broadband your BTMail email accounts are all "downgraded" to the free BTMail Basic email. This can only be used with a web browser and not with an email client or email app.

If you want to be able to use your email accounts with an email client or email app such as those on mobile devices you would need to get a BT Premium email account but as stated, if you are happy to just use your email accounts with a web browser you do not need to to anything. They will be automatically downgraded to the free BTMail Basic accounts which will continue to work as they do now with the exception of email clients and app.
