Two step authentication

If you enable two step authentication on MyBT does it also apply to BT email access as well?  My partner has his own  BT email address under  my MyBT  account and I would not want a code to be sent to my mobile phone every time he tries to gain access to his email on his Microsoft computer.

If you have 2FA set up it will notify you that it has been activated on a "new" device at which point you then mark that device as "a trusted device" and it will no longer notify you when that account is used.

You could however "gift" the email account to your partner and he would set up his own MyBT and have full management control over that email account and it would be up to him if he set up 2FA or not.
