URGENT – BT Email service unavailable for several days – immediate escalation required please

Dear BT Consumer Resolution Team,

I am in Brazil at present. I am contacting you from an alternative email address because my BT Email service has been unavailable for several days. I cannot receive or access emails through the BT Mail app, Apple Mail or BT Webmail. Webmail displays a red error saying there is a problem “at our end.”

My internet connection and other websites work normally, so this appears to be a BT Email/account issue. I am currently in Brazil and cannot make international calls, and important emails are waiting in the mailbox. Please treat this as urgent.

Please:

1. Investigate and restore access.

2. Confirm whether there is a known service issue.

3. Confirm that incoming emails are being retained safely.

4. Check whether the mailbox is locked, suspended or restricted.

5. Escalate to the appropriate technical team if necessary.

6. Provide a fault/reference number and confirm that the issue has been logged.

As the problem also affects BT Webmail, please do not limit the response to Apple Mail reconfiguration.

This is a BT residential customer to customer forum. Your post does not go to BT. The only BT staff are the forum moderators who do not necessarily read all the posts and they do not have account access.

The most likely cause of your problem will be the IP address of the network you are using being blocked by BT.

If possible try using another network or a VPN using a UK destination. I would also suggest you use webmail only which seems to work in most destinations.
