Unable to send emails +error message 'Too many messages (2.3.6.2)'

I am unable to send emails (via BT email) and get error message  'Too many messages (2.3.6.2)'

Noticed that this error also occurred last year due to BT changing security? Could someone please help as I can currently only receive emails. Ps. I have deleted several emails just in case.

Do you know how many emails you sent before you received this message? Did the emails you were sending contain any links?
