I am using iPads and iPhones to send my emails I periodically get emails being sent being blocked stating incorrect password when it is correct and will allow me to sign into my emails on safari etc and if I turn off wifi and use 5g etc . As soon as I connect back to my wifi server no longer works …….i have deleted the account reset it up , wiped server settings and set back up and still nothing

Is it a BTMail email account you are using or are you using your own email domain and its servers?

It may be a server problem. Have you tried turning off your BT Hub for about 30 minutes. When you turn it back on it should be issued a new IP address and will most likely be connected to a different email server.

I had to amend my password for the 5th time and now it’s working and so is the WIFI …..
I think BT are over zealous in blocking IP addresses from ranges their security systems flag up. In order to fix this issue I had to resort to paying my ISP for a fixed IP address. This is unacceptable.
