We are experiencing issues with the service, please try again later
Please, please can anyone help. I am unable to see emails in my inbox. A message appears "Error, We are experiencing issues with the service, please try again later". I have tried clearing cookies / cache, switched router off and on, tried different devices. Spent hours on the useless chatbot that just goes round in circles asking the same irrelevant questions. No answer on the phone helpline. Been 3 days now. Any advice would be very welcome, I'm at my wit's end. Thanks.

Are you a business or a residential customer, as there were recently reported issue on the BT Business service?

I am getting the same, have you had anyone comeback to you on this, it works ok on my phone but not on the laptop.

I have been experiencing the same problem for a week. Only on laptop. iPad and iPhone no problem. I am a residential custome.

Have tried turning your BT Hub off for about 30 minutes.
This should force a change of IP address and a new connection to the BT email servers which if your problem is related to a BT server may resolve the problem.
If that does not fix it I suspect you will need the intervention of the moderators to pass the problem to the BT email Team.

I got a response from the bt chat. Suggested I download the bt app and open my emails from that. It seems to have worked. No idea what's causing the problem, said it must just be me as nothing wrong at bt! But clearly not as other people are experiencing the same!
