I keep getting this pop-up: We are experiencing issues with the service, please try again later.

When I am typing, the message "We are experiencing issues with the service, please try again later." keeps on popping up. I thought it was only late at night, but it has been happening at 11 this morning. I've been getting it for at least a couple of weeks. It stops whatever I'm typing appearing on the screen, which is annoying, to say the least, as I don't look at the screen while I'm typing, so I have to type what I thought I'd typed, again. It also stops me being able to send the email, unless I catch it unawares. What is wrong with BT's email, or is there something wrong with my PC? Is this problem widespread? I sometimes get a pop-up that says "Please enter a valid recipient" (or something similar) when there is a recipient in the field. This alternates (not literally) with "We are experiencing issues with the service, please try again later."

No solution, but I get the same " We are experiencing issues with the service, please try again later." It has been going on for months now. What are the issues, please.

It even comes up with this message if I click on ' Save Draft '. What do I do if I now want to go out ?

Thanks, prabtcom. At least I know it's not my PC at fault. Why doesn't BT do something about this? Surely they must know it's happening?

P.S. I get the same sort of thing with Save Draft, and also a sort of error message about 'minimise', but I can't remember exactly what it says.

Hi @Bert4545 

It sounds like you may be getting this error each time the Auto-Save feature is updating? 

Can you go into "Settings", under "Email " or "drafts" set the interval to save the draft up to 5 minutes. 

Then monitor to see how often you get the error, if at all?

But I don't get that pop-up all the time, Ali_A. I just wrote an email that must have taken at least 10 minutes without the pop-up appearing once. And I have written emails for years without getting the pop-up, only in the last month or two have I been getting it.

It used to happen only in the evening/nights, but you have found it happening in the morning too?

It's not really possible for me to say when I do or do not get the pop-up. I most often get onto my PC after 11 p.m. and compose and send emails then or later. So I thought perhaps the problem was due to the internet getting busy with the USA getting online. But, as you can see from my first post, I have received the pop-up at 11 a.m. (once). I cannot say if that happens always, frequently, or occasionally, as I rarely try to write emails at 11 a.m. I have just been writing emails from about 3 p.m. to now (4:30 p.m.) and not had the pop-up. I am not the only one getting this message ( see First Reply). I don't want to change the frequency of autosave, as when I go to drafts there can be a lot missing if it only saves every 5 minutes.
