email from gmail to btinternet, Gmail is reporting "not accepting our requests to connect"

When I send an email from my gmail account to my btinternet account, Gmail is reporting:

"The recipient server did not accept our requests to connect. For more information, go to https://support.google.com/mail/answer/7720 [btinernet.com 104.247.81.99: timed out]"

The support.google link gives :

"Sorry, this page can't be found."
Any suggestions?
I have been getting them for 3 days....

Re: email from gmail to btinternet, Gmail is reporting "not accepting our requests to connect&q

Hi Katie,
yes I can see all the other emails that have been sent to my btinternet account that are then auto-forwarded to my Gmail account.

The email that btinternet email is having problems with is one that I sent from my Gmail to someone with a bcc to my btinternet... which sends to my Gmail, so I have a copy in my inbox in Gmail.

Actually, btinternet is saying nothing about the email. The error message is coming from Gmail saying that btinternet isn't connecting .

Does that help?

As a test try it without your email address in the BCC field.
